As an advertising agency with 16 + years of making sense creatively, we know a thing or two about the expanding realm of corporate gifting. The gifting culture is changing and it is no longer about giving but, giving with a purpose. Thinking beyond the act of gifting, and focusing on enhancing the receiver’s life through your humble gesture is slowly rising to be the guiding principle for corporate gift-givers around the globe.
Sure, a flask and a mug are great but, are they? Perhaps the receiver has a ton of these lying around. How about a business gift that is unique to the receiver? Understandably so, customizing gifts for each individual will take time, energy, and a bigger budget. A luxury, that corporates don’t have. But, what if there is a sweet spot, we can all agree on? A middle ground where the receiver is happy to receive the said gift and the giver is confident of his/her choice.
In our decade and a half worth of working with concepts like design aesthetics, user appeal/experience, product viability, and more, we have gained considerable knowledge in understanding what works and what doesn’t and how likes and dislikes change with the constant flow of time. We have worked with several brands from a broad range of verticals in curating personalized branded corporate gifts. We have also evolved into a mindful corporate gifting service keeping in mind the growing demand for sustainability while strengthening our resolve of preserving and protecting our natural resources.
To help you take your corporate gifting game to the next level, we pen this blog to outline our template for choosing and personalizing business gifts. Whether you are marking an occasion with a smart stakeholder takeaway, showing your appreciation towards the team for their contribution or even welcoming a new teammate, we feel corporate gifts when done right can leave a lasting positive impression of your brand.
So, when you choose us as your corporate gifting creative partner, how are we adding value? Glad you asked!
Thoughtful
When thought goes into gifting, great things happen. By thinking, you put yourself in the shoes of the receiver and therefore, have a better understanding of how you would or wouldn’t like a particular gift. This exercise may seem simple but, is often ignored because thought requires energy and time. For us, it is the foundation of how we curate the gift.
Diwali, the most celebrated time of the year on the calendar is also the time when teams across offices receive gifts often ones, that are easily forgotten and often regifted. Not for our client, Meraqee though!
In collaboration with a sustainable gift curation brand, we poured our heart and soul into putting together a gift hamper that brought family time back to the forefront of the celebration. Each gift went with a heartfelt note capturing the essence of the festival.
Mindful
Being aware of the need to be present in this fast-paced, break-neck speed world is beginning to be the go-to theme for purposeful gift-giving. What does the gift do beyond the unboxing, and how does it translate to creating value for the receiver?
Understanding this requires a fair amount of research and drawing experiences from the personal life navigating friends, family, and work commitments. Role-playing, role reversal, and a bunch of other techniques help us nail the type of gift we want to curate and offer.
What brings families together? Can phones be put away for even a couple of minutes? Is there a uniting experience that brings families to the table without the baggage of the day? How about board games? But not just the one that you can buy online or get at a local store, one that elevates the game and offers ‘food for thought’. ‘Snakes and Ladders’ was chosen for the hamper and customized by us with apt copy to fit the theme of ‘family time’.
